Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City/Cai Be/Tra On
Upon arrival, you will board your Bassac boat at Cai Be at noon and head to Tien Giang River. You’ll enjoy your welcome drink and peaceful scenery while be introduced to the ship and crew and check to your cabin. The cruise will take you to Cho Lach on the Tien Giang River. Your lunch will be served onboard and the time will be your own to rest on the deck. While the Bassac boat slips into the Cho Lach canals, in the middle of the hustle and bustle river traffic, between markets and churches. This is a unique opportunity for a glimpse of the very varied life the banks as well as on the river.
After that, you’ll visit a village on the banks of river Mang Thit. This is an opportunity to appreciate the way of life and hostility of the local inhabitants. You’ll also visit the fruit orchards or rice fields nearby. Then, you’ll board back and enjoy the complimentary drink as a welcome back on board. You’ll rest on the deck to enjoy the sunset. The crew will serve the dinner while the Bassac boat cruises to Mang Thit River. The boat will set anchor just downstream from the little Tra On market for the night.

Day 2: Tra On/Can Tho/Ho Chi Minh City
You may get up for breakfast as early as 06:30, as the ship is resuming its cruise by the Tra On floating market and then departs towards Can Tho. Arrival at Cai Rang floating market, you will check out and be transferred onto a local boat to visit the floating market, the nearby arroyos and gardens. By mid-morning, you will disembark for lunch at a local restaurant on shore. After lunch, you’ll return to Ho Chi Minh City by road.
