Situated 40 km from Hue, the village spreads across the poetic O Lau River and has all the typical features of traditional Vietnamese village. You’ll find the unaccustomed peacefulness, the rustic sound of cocks crowing and birds singing in the early morning along with the smell of wood burning as you stroll through the village to see the unique ancient houses built more than a century ago. Around the villages, there are some relics of the Champa Kingdom left from hundreds of years ago. A boat will be waiting for you to cruise along the river to appreciate the rural scenery and daily life of the villagers. You’ll then return to Hue for lunch. The remainder of the day will be your own. You’ll spend the night in Hue.
