Similar to the Indian Thali, this meal made up of multiple small dishes features uniquely Burmese flavors.

It is served in a metal plate with divided spaces for rice, potato curry, tomato curry and vegetables.

Mohinga

Mohinga - thin glass noodles and egg in fish broth, cooked with lemongrass, turmeric, pepper.

The fish is not immediately recognizable; it is ground with chickpea flour to make a lusciously thick stew usually served for breakfast.
