Like many other cities and provinces of Laos, Vientiane offers pleasant places for tourists to mingle in the local culture and life through several cuisine journeys.

Experiencing street foods is considered as the best way to get to know Laotian traditional and popular dishes at a reasonable price.

Klao Niaw

This steaming sticky rice is Laos’ most famous dish. It is rolled into small balls, and served in a bamboo basket, and often dipped in other foods and sauces.

Klao Niaw is so popular that it is eaten with practically all Laotian dishes.
