4. Twin Tower

Quy Nhon is famous for its towers bearing unique traditional Cham Pa cultural architecture. And one of them is the Hung Thanh Twin Towers, also known as Quy Nhon Twin Towers. Known as one of the eight clusters of Cham Pa Tower with a long history here.

Located 3 km northwest of the city centre. You can move here by car, motorbike or passenger car.

The entire campus of Quy Nhon Twin Towers has an area of about 6,000 square meters.

Hung Thanh Tower is called a twin tower because it consists of only two towers standing next to each other, one high one low. In which, the big tower is 20m high, the small tower is 18m high.

Normally, a cluster of ancient Cham towers usually has 3 towers, but somehow there are only two towers.

Scientists have not found an explanation for this conundrum. Another difference between the Cham Pa twin towers compared to other towers is that both towers do not have a top.

The reason is that the tower was severely damaged during the war. Although it has been restored, it is still not possible to restore these two apexes.

Another special feature is that the tower is built entirely of red fired bricks arranged together by a special binder.

Unlike building houses with cement today, this is a unique construction technique of the ancient Cham that researchers today have yet to decipher.
