My wife and I recently spent three weeks in Viet Nam. We took this trip in the last week in March and the first two weeks in April, 2018. We found AOJ and worked with Mr. Vinh throughout. We started planning this trip in late October, 2107. Mr. Vinh provided us with an initial itinerary for the first two weeks of our trip including stops in Hanoi, Hue, Hoi An, and Da Lat. (We spent the last week of our trip visiting friends in Saigon.) We revised the itinerary 2-3 times over the next couple of weeks. Mr. Vinh was very accommodating and helpful, designing just the trip we were interested in taking. He responded promptly to all our questions and requests. We landed in Hanoi about 10:00 PM and were promptly met by an airport employee, arranged by AOJ, who got our visas for us, quickly got us through customs, helped us get our luggage, and introduced us to our driver and guide. During the two weeks, we had three drivers and guides. The drivers were all experienced and cautious. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and quite competent in English. The drivers and guides showed up early for all our appointments. We especially appreciated how carefully the guides were matched to our interests. For instance, we wanted to do a day in the country around Da Lat, and our guide was also a farmer. He took us to his farm and fixed coffee for us (from his beans) in his house. All the hotels were outstanding; we especially liked the Indochine Palace in Hue, one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. We are very satisfied with AOJ and are happy to give them our highest recommendation.
