Upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel in the city. Take the rest of the day to unwind and recover from your journey.

Overnight: Hanoi

Begin the day early with a visit to Hoan Kiem Lake, where locals engage in tai chi and morning exercises. Enjoy a traditional bowl of pho for breakfast and sip egg coffee at a tucked-away café. Continue with a stroll through the Old Quarter, observing Hanoi’s bustling street life and visiting historical tube houses. Explore Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and nearby stilt house before visiting the outstanding Vietnam Museum of Ethnology.

For lunch, enjoy Hanoi’s famed Bun Cha or sample street-side banh mi. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature—Vietnam’s first university—and wrap up your day with a glass of “bia hoi” and crunchy nem chua ran, like a true local.

Overnight: Hanoi

Depart Hanoi for Ninh Binh, often referred to as “Ha Long Bay on land.” Cycle through tranquil rice paddies and limestone karsts to Mua Cave, then hike 500 steps to admire panoramic views of the Ngo Dong River. Continue to Trang An for a peaceful sampan journey through limestone grottoes. After lunch, head to Van Long Nature Reserve, Vietnam’s largest wetland, for a boat ride among rare flora and fauna in a serene, ecologically rich setting.

Overnight: Ninh Binh

Travel to Ha Long Bay and board a traditional wooden junk. As you cruise past thousands of limestone islands, enjoy a seafood lunch onboard. In the afternoon, explore the spectacular Mê Cung Cave and relax with a swim or visit to a floating pearl farm. Unwind with a sunset cocktail and savor a gourmet dinner on the top deck. End the evening stargazing or trying your hand at squid fishing.

Start your day with Tai Chi on the sundeck or a sunrise photo session. Visit Titov Island for swimming and panoramic views, then return to the boat for brunch and a cooking demonstration. Disembark at noon and transfer back to Hanoi for your evening flight to Danang. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to Hoi An Ancient Town.

Today offers a hands-on experience in rural Vietnam. Bike to Tra Que organic vegetable village and join locals in farming activities. Continue past scenic rice fields to Cam Thanh Village, where you’ll meet Mr. Nhi and learn to plant rice, plough with a buffalo, and cook a traditional meal. After lunch and a foot massage, take a buffalo cart ride and fishing excursion on the river. End the day exploring the water coconut palm forest by basket boat and enjoy sunset snacks on board.

This morning, journey to the Cu Chi Tunnels—an underground labyrinth used during the Vietnam War. Crawl through narrow passages and learn how the Viet Cong lived and fought. Return to Saigon for lunch, followed by visits to the War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Central Post Office. Stroll along Dong Khoi Street and browse Ben Thanh Market for local flavors and souvenirs.

Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City

Travel south to Cai Be and cruise past the floating market and riverside villages. Visit local workshops making rice paper and coconut candy before heading to Tan Phong Island. Enjoy a sampan ride through tranquil canals, interact with villagers, and try traditional crafts like weaving water hyacinth. Taste fresh tropical fruits, enjoy local music, and bike through island paths before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.

Leave the city behind and venture into the wild at Nam Cat Tien National Park. Travel through rustic towns, rubber plantations, and Cao Dai temples before crossing a river to the park’s entrance. Check into your lodge and visit the Nature Reserve Center. After dinner, take a night jeep safari into the forest in search of nocturnal wildlife like monkeys and deer.

Overnight: Nam Cat Tien – Park House Chalet

Start before dawn for a guided trek to find the elusive yellow-cheeked gibbons. Listen for their unique morning song and try to spot them moving through the canopy. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then cross to Dao Tien Island to visit the gibbon rehabilitation center. Observe rescued primates from a respectful distance and learn about their conservation journey.

Overnight: Nam Cat Tien – Park House Chalet

Embark on a final adventure to Crocodile Lake, beginning with a jeep ride and short trek. Keep your eyes open for rare birds and wildlife as you glide across the lake. Return to the park headquarters and depart for Ho Chi Minh City in time for your international flight.
