Your guide will meet you at your hotel in Hanoi for your scenic drive south to Ninh Binh. Upon arrival in Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam, you’ll visit the temples of King Dinh and King Le and explore the remnants of the Old Palace. The journey continues through picturesque rural roads to Mua Cave, where you’ll climb 500 steps to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking Tam Coc and the Ngo Dong River. After lunch at a local restaurant, head to Van Long Nature Reserve, the largest wetland in Northern Vietnam. Enjoy a peaceful sampan boat ride through the reserve, surrounded by towering limestone karsts and diverse wildlife. You’ll then return to your resort for a restful evening amid the natural beauty of Ninh Binh.

Set off early for the drive to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site famed for its emerald waters and dramatic limestone islands. Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Harbor, board your deluxe cruise and receive a welcome drink and safety briefing. After settling into your cabin, enjoy a leisurely lunch as the boat cruises through the stunning bay. In the afternoon, visit Me Cung Cave, one of the bay’s most intricate and beautiful caves, and take in panoramic views from its summit. Weather permitting, enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters before visiting a floating pearl farm. As the sun sets, relax with a sunset party on deck before savoring a delicious dinner. Spend your evening stargazing, squid fishing, or simply soaking in the tranquil atmosphere.

Greet the day with coffee or tea on deck before joining a Tai Chi session as the sun rises over the bay. After breakfast, visit Titov Island for swimming and a short hike to a scenic viewpoint. Back on board, participate in a Vietnamese cooking demonstration and enjoy a buffet lunch as you cruise back to the harbor. After disembarking, transfer to Hanoi Airport for your flight to Danang. Upon arrival, you’ll be driven to the charming town of Hoi An, where you’ll spend the night.

Return to your hotel in the evening and enjoy the tranquil ambiance of Hoi An.

Depart Hoi An and drive along the scenic coastal road over Hai Van Pass, with stunning views of Lang Co Beach and Danang below. Upon arrival in Hue, embark on a guided tour of the Imperial Citadel. Explore the Thai Hoa Palace, the Royal Palaces, and the famous Nine Dynastic Urns. Cross the river to visit Dong Ba Market and experience the local flavors and culture. Enjoy a peaceful evening in Hue.

Begin your day with a cruise along the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Continue to Minh Mang’s majestic tomb, surrounded by lush gardens and classical architecture. After lunch, explore Khai Dinh’s Tomb, an ornate fusion of Vietnamese and European design. End your cultural immersion with a visit to one of Hue’s famous garden houses. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Hue dinner in a serene setting that reflects the city’s imperial heritage.

Enjoy a leisurely morning before your transfer to the airport for a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and relax for the rest of the day.

Explore Ho Chi Minh City’s rich history and vibrant atmosphere with visits to the Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, War Remnants Museum, Jade Emperor Pagoda, Ben Thanh Market, and Cholon (Chinatown). In the afternoon, travel to Cu Chi Tunnels, an impressive underground network used during the Vietnam War. Learn about their construction and strategic use while crawling through some of the safer sections. Return to the city for a relaxing evening.

Escape the city to the lush Mekong Delta. Travel to Cai Be, where you’ll explore the floating market and visit traditional workshops making rice paper, coconut candy, and popcorn. Continue to Tan Phong Island by rowing boat or bicycle, witnessing rural life and interacting with locals. Learn about age-old techniques for fishing, weaving, and roof making. Enjoy tea and traditional music in a tropical garden before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.

Free time until your transfer to the airport for your flight back to Hanoi or onward destination. Tour ends.
