Upon arrival at Siem Reap Airport in the early evening, you’ll be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel in the city center. Settle in and enjoy the evening at leisure to rest and prepare for the days of exploration ahead.

Rise early for a magical sunrise over Angkor Wat, the largest and most revered religious monument in the world. After taking in the breathtaking scene, continue to Angkor Thom — the last great capital of the Khmer Empire — where you’ll marvel at the enigmatic smiling faces of Bayon Temple. Visit the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King before continuing to Baphuon, a mountain-temple now beautifully restored. After lunch, explore the hauntingly atmospheric Ta Prohm, where jungle roots embrace ancient stonework. End the day with a sunset view over the countryside from Pre Rup Temple before returning to your hotel for a restful evening.

Leave the city behind and head northeast to explore Koh Ker, the mysterious former capital of the Khmer Empire. Towering above the forest, Prasat Thom’s seven-tiered sandstone pyramid offers a thrilling climb and panoramic views. After a local lunch, venture to the remote and hauntingly beautiful Beng Mealea. Covered in moss, lichen, and twisted tree roots, this temple complex remains much as it was when rediscovered by early explorers. With its crumbling corridors and collapsed galleries, it’s a true Indiana Jones experience. Return to Siem Reap in the late afternoon to relax at your hotel.

This morning, transfer to the airport for your short flight to Sihanoukville. Upon arrival, continue to the pier to board a speedboat (shared) to Koh Rong Island. After about 45 minutes gliding across azure waters, you’ll arrive at your beach bungalow. The rest of the day is yours to unwind — swim in turquoise waves, lounge on white sand, or simply relax with the sound of the sea.

Enjoy three full days in paradise to spend however you choose. Soak up the sun, enjoy the warm sea breeze, or take part in optional activities offered by the resort. Snorkel coral reefs, kayak through mangrove rivers, try your hand at fishing, or hike through jungle trails to visit local villages. At night, consider a magical plankton tour to witness bioluminescent waters. Whether you’re after adventure or total relaxation, Koh Rong offers the best of both.

After breakfast, board the speedboat back to Sihanoukville where your driver will meet you for the overland transfer to Phnom Penh Airport. From here, you’ll catch your international flight home. Tour ends.
